Directions:
From London the South of England, M1 - Join the M1 North bound via Luton, Northampton, Leicester, Nottingham, Matlock, Mansfield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Dewsbury, then leave the M1 at the Leeds/Bradford junction and join the A1M to York via the A64, Tadcaster and take the slip road off the A64 when you see the turning to the A19 to York city centre via Fulford. From London the South of England, M25, M11 to the A1 - From the M25 northbound join the M11 via Harlow, Cambridge and join the A1 Northbound via Peterborough, Stamford, Grantham, Newark, and join the A1M at Doncaster via Wakefield to the A1M. join the A1M to York via the A64, Tadcaster and take the slip road off the A64 when you see the turning to the A19 to York city centre via Fulford. From the West (Leeds, Bradford, Manchester Liverpool) - From the M62 via Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & Leeds pick up the A1M Northbound (Wetherby & The North) until you see the sign posts for York, Scarborough and the East coast. Take slip road off the A1M to the A64 to York (by passing Tadcaster). When approaching York take the slip road off the A64 when you see the turning to the A19 to York city centre via Fulford. From the North (Newcastle, Stockton, Darlington, Middlesborough, Durham, A1) - follow the A1 South (Wetherby, York The South) until you see the sign posts for York when approaching Wetherby. Come off the A1 at the A64 and follow the A64 to York. When approaching York take the slip road off the A64 when you see the turning to the A19 to York city centre via Fulford. See map above.
From the East (Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Malton, Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, East Coast.) - follow the A64 West towards York on the Scarborough road until you reach a large round about. Go straight accross following the A64 towards Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, until you come to the A19 turnoff and head North towards York on the A19. See map above.
